About Me

What do you get when you combine a former Elementary Education major, a New England girl, and someone with a passion for helping people (specifically college students)? Well, since you’re here, I think you can guess…

I’m a  Student Affairs professional, who graduated with my M.S. Ed from Old Dominion University. Currently I work at a beautiful school in the northeast as a Resident Director where I’m so unbelievably happy sometimes it’s hard to believe this is my job!

I’m a big believer in “challenge and support” (hence the name of my blog)-cliche, I know. But hey, all I want to do is push my students past their limits and give them the tools to succeed. That’s not so bad, right?…Didn’t think so!

Follow me as I tackle issues I face in Student Affairs and Higher Education!
